PESHAWAR - Former federal minister and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khwaja Muhammad Khan Hoti Thursday warned JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman not to criticise the personal life of his leader PTI Chief Imran Khan.

He said the PTI activists had the capability to give a tit-for-tat response. “In which book has it been written that no one is allowed to talk to his wife after divorce? Such derogatory statements on the part of Maulana do not suit him,” he remarked. He was addressing a crowded press conference here at Peshawar Press Club.  He was also flanked by PTI, KP, General Secretary Shah Farman and Zahid Hussain Mohmand.

He said Mualana Fazlur Rehman was equally responsible for the prevailing messy situation, being a part of the present government. He rejected the allegations of any backing to PTI from any agency. He said his party was the first to raise voice against the US drone attacks in tribal areas.

Muhammad Khan Hoti said the PTI chairman demanded holding of talks with Taliban four years back, but his demand was underestimated. He added that now the US were willing to hold talks with the Taliban in Afghanistan.

He said the PTI did not use any wrong word against any individual, but JUI-F Chief Mualana Fazlur Rehman statements against Imran Khan were totally unjustified and unfair.

“Our movement against corruption will continue until complete eradication of the menace from the country,” he resolved.

He said no compromise would be made on it. “We are not telling about natural tsunami, but PTI masses tsunami will drown the corrupt leaders,” he clarified.

Former MNA said the PTI movement could not be weakened by such attempts, adding that his party would move forward until it eliminates corruption from the country.
