CM’s speech and debate competition held

LAHORE – The University level English debate competition in connection with Punjab Chief Minister’s Speech and Debate Competition was held at Government Dayal Singh College here on Thursday.
The competition was presided over by Prof Rana Mohammad Aslam Pervaiz while Tariq Maqbool Malik, Principal Jinnah Islamia College of Commerce was the chief guest on the occasion. Prof Asfa Naz of Government College for Women Cooper Road, Prof Tahir Mehmood of Government College Narowal and Prof Hafeez Ullah Arif of Post Graduate College Gujranwala were the judges of the competition.
Ali Zian, a student of BZU, Mulatan, Alveena Fatima of University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and Roshan Ambar of University of Sargodha bagged first, second and third position respectively.
Later, Prof Rana Mohammad Jahangir addressed the students. He also praised the efforts of Punjab CM for promotion of co-curricular activities among the students.
