KARACHI - Joint Action Committee of PIA Employees (JACPIAE) on Thursday requested the management to arrange its meeting with Defence Minister & Chairman PIA before finalising PIA business plan recommendations for Cabinet committee.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani recently rejected PIA business plan prepared by its management.
Captain Suhail Baloch President PALPA & Convener JACPIAE in letter to Defence Minister said employees have some very positive recommendations for consideration. “We finalised our recommendations with some of aviation stalwarts who played major role in turning around airline to profits in worst aviation circumstances.
He further said that we tried our best to advise management to take corrective measures but certain groups within management are leading PIA to the verge of collapse. Airline employees wish their bread and better be saved as they are scared PIA might become like Pakistan Railways.
They want that PIA once again become pride of nation.
