KARACHI - Angry women held a protest on Saturday against unannounced gas load shedding at homes in different parts of the city resulting in a massive gridlock on main M A Jinnah Road.
A large number of women and children from Lines Area held a demonstration at Nomaish Chowrangi against low gas pressure and load shedding. Women said that they had no other option but to hold protest  as they were unable to cook and feed their children because of unannounced gas outages. In winter season gas supply to several areas of the city including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad and Lines Areas  becomes affected due to which domestic consumers suffer a lot.
