Forces defuse IED in Khyber

 KHYBER AGENCY - The security forces on Saturday defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), planted by unknown militants on main Pak-Afghan roadside, in Katta Kushtha area of tehsil Jamrud, official sources said on Saturday. Sources said that last day on duty patrolling contingents of Khasadar force noticed a suspected package concealed under the mud on the roadside.   The massage was conveyed to forces high-ups and sought their assistance to tackle it, sources said. The forces bomb disposal squad arrived on the spot and defused it, sources said. The explosive was fixed with intention to blow up the Nato supply, sources said. Prior to it, the Pak-Afghan road was suspended at Katta Kushtha for two hours to clear the explosive, sources said.
