In Bhimbher, a special congregation was held under the auspices of Bhimbher District National Events Organising Committee with the committee's Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tayyeb.
Addressing the meet, Tayyeb pointed out that India was denying Jammu and Kashmir people their right to decide their destiny in view of the fact that the people of entire Jammu & Kashmir state believe in their safe and prosperous future through accession of the state to Pakistan.
"For the very reason India is constantly using delaying tactics to escape from the peaceful resolution to Kashmir conflict in line with wishes of the Kashmiris," they added. The speakers called upon the international community especially the global forum of the United Nations to fulfill their due obligations without any discrimination by ensuring the holding of free and fair plebiscite in Jammu Kashmir state.
They also called upon India to give matching response to Pakistan's sincere offer for peaceful resolution to Kashmir issue in line with wishes of its basic stakeholders - the Jammu and Kashmir people, through composite dialogue. Meanwhile, a delegation of the civil society in Bhimbher submitted a unanimous resolution in the Bhimbher-based United Nations Observers mission for onward moving to the UN Headquarter reminding the world body for early implementation of the UN resolutions.
