KARAK – Pakistan People’s Party, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Finance Secretary, Misbahuddin said that his party founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto laid his life to strengthen democracy in the country and never bowed before dictatorship.
He was addressing to a ceremony held in connection with Zulfikar Ali Bhutto birth anniversary here on Saturday at a local hotel and claimed that today democracy in the country was the result of the sacrifices of the party founder. He paid rich tributes to the sacrifices offered by the Bhutto family for the cause of democracy in Pakistan and added that Bhutto gave tongue to every citizen of the country.
He cautioned that some forces making efforts to weaken democracy in the country and resolved to foil their efforts with the strength of the masses.

The PPP leader asked the people to support PPP in the coming general election to strengthen democracy in the country and expressed optimism that his party would win the election for second consecutive term on the basis of performance.
