ISLAMABAD - Thanks to a sensational brace by Naveed, Model Town Football Club beat Capital FC 3-1 in the IFA C Division League match Sunday. Naveed scored the first goal in the 13th minute. Shawal then added second in the 34th minute as first half ended with Model Town leading 2-0. Capital FC started the second half brightly and reduced the margin in the 50th minute when Aun Naqvi scored from a neatly taken free kick but Naveed restored the lead in the 64th minute to ensure all three points for Model town FC. The match between Elite FC and Tramri FC ended in a goalless draw while in third match Bolan FC edged out Gilgit/Baltistan FC 1-0. Zohaib Hasan scored the winning goal in the 58th minute of the second half for Bolan FC.–Staff Reporter
