Rawalpindi - Asfan Yar Bhandara, member of National Assembly (MNA) and leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) minority wing, has donated electric appliances and some other items to the administration of a church that had been set on fire in Mazharabad area of Rawalpindi some time ago.

The stuff was handed over to the administration by Bhandara during a ceremony held at his residence on Monday. The stuff included sound system, lights, chairs, fans and other essential items.

Addressing to the participants, MNA Asfan Yar said that all the religions give the lesson of tolerance and love to humanity. He said that in Pakistan minorities enjoy full religious freedom and no body was allowed to harm their sentiments. He condemned Mazharabad Church fire incident and said that the government was taking concrete steps to avoid happenings of such sad incidents in future.

The church administration thanked the MNA for his donation and hoped that Bhandara would continue playing his due role for the solution of problems being faced by the minorities in the country.
