LAHORE: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) yesterday claimed to have arrested six alleged human-traffickers in two separate raids conducted in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

According to FIA Director Inam Ghani, two human traffickers were arrested from a bakery located in Saddar and Chauhar Chowk. Yasir who was arrested from a bakery hails from Muzzaffarabad, while another accused Haq Nawaz belongs to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “Ninteen passports and five fake driving licenses were recovered from Haq Nawaz,” the Director added.

On the other hand, FIA’s Human Trafficking Cell Lahore arrested 4 traffickers identified as Muhammad Aslam, Salman Aslam, Tasawwur Abbas and Irfan Bashir.

Police was searching for Irfan who is named in an FIR lodged earlier.–Online
