LAHORE - NBP will take on Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in the first quarterfinal of the National Hockey Championship at 1pm while Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will vie against Pakistan Television (PTV) in the second quarterfinal at HCP Stadium today (Wednesday). The quarterfinals of the championship, which were earlier to be played under floodlights, would now be played in sunlight. Tournament director Olympian Qamar Ibrahim said the decision was taken after technicians detected some technical fault which according to them would take at least two days to repair. “All the teams have been informed about the change,” added Qamar.
