107-yr-old laid to rest amid music, sweets distribution

FAISALABAD-Unique in the history of Sangla Hill, music was played and sweet was distributed at the funeral for 107 years old Baba Lal Khan.

According to details, leader of the Christian community Baba Lal Khan died after seeing two centuries.

He left behind dozens of grandsons and granddaughters in the family.

Due to the long age and a happy life, relatives of Baba Lal Khan paid him tribute by arranging music in his funeral. Sweet rice and dry fruits were also served to the participants of the funeral.

ASI CAUGHT TAKING BRIBE

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Jhang Traffic Police was arrested red handed, taking bribe in a raid by Anti-Corruption team.

The team was headed by Assistant Director Investigation, Toba Tek Singh Abdul Razzaq Khan. Action was initiated after a complaint was lodged by a resident of Toba Tek Singh with Director Anti-Corruption Faisalabad Dr Arshad Ahmed.

Complainant stated that Assistan Sub Inspector Muhammad Sabir Farooq had demanded Rs20, 000 as bribe for releasing his truck and the driver.

The raiding team conducted raid and caught Assistan Sub Inspector red handed, taking bribe besides registering case against him in Anti-Corruption Police station, TT Singh.
