KARACHI - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday upgraded BPS-07 primary school teachers who had completed 25 years of service in BPS-16.

The notification in this regard was issued on Friday with the approval of the chief Minister Sindh.

The chief minister while congratulating the teachers said that he was hopeful that the teachers would help him in improving the standard of education in the province.

“PPP has fulfilled its promise with the teachers and soon a notification to regularize the teachers will also be issued,” the CM said. The statement further said that over 15,000 teachers would be benefitted through this decision.

It is pertinent to mention here that the teachers had been staging protest for their regularisation, promotions and other issues and after successful negotiations on Thursday with the provincial government announced to end their protest.
