LAYYAH-The Pir of Suwag Sharif, Layyah, Friday announced support for Pir Hameed Uddin Sialvi and leaving PML-N.

"We repose trust in Pir of Sial Sharif Hameed Uddin Sialvi sahib and support his demands for resignation of Rana Sanaullah and brining those involved in the amendment to Khatme Nubuwwat clause to the book," Pir of Suwag Sharif Sahibzada Ahmad Hassan declared while addressing a press conference here on Friday.

He regretted that the PML-N government is not serious to punish those responsible for amending Khatme Nubuwwat clause.

He declared that if brother MNA Faizul Hassan does not resign from the assembly then Member District Council Sahibzada Mehboobul Hassan would be their candidate from NA-181 in the next elections. He announced that Sahibzada Mehboobul Hassan would resign from his UC Chairmanship on January 9, in Lahore.

"We will never tolerate any attempt aim at amending Khatme Nubuwwat laws and the rulers must remember that they will find no place on the earth if to hide if any such attempt made in the future," he warned.

He also reiterated the demand for resignation of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, saying they would not budge an inch from this demand come what may.

On the occasion, Sahibzada Mehboobul Hassan said that nothing is more important than protection of Namoos-e-Risalat, adding that nobody can dare changing Khatme Nubuwwat laws. "The PML-N government should get prepared for the consequences of attempted amendment to Khatme Nubuwwat Clauses," he pointed out.

He said that thousands of followers of Pir Suwag Sharif would neither support, nor vote the PML-N candidates in the future elections.
