BAHAWALPUR - The Pakistan Mathematical Society organised 42nd national seminar at Islamia University here the other day. IUB Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaiser Mushtaq who is the founding president of Pakistan Mathematical Society (PMS) attended the seminar along with faculty members and students of the Mathematics Department. The guest speaker who is the renowned mathematician and serving at Quaid e Azam University Islamabad delivered an extensive lecture on topic of "How to find distance between two points". It is important to mention that Pakistan Mathematical Society is a top ten scientific NGO of the country working for the promotion of mathematics. The society has organised 18 international conferences so far and a seminar is organised during every quarter to enrich faculty and students with knowledge of renowned scholars and researchers of respective fields.
