KHANEWAL-Teaching is the noblest profession as no other occupation is more honourable than it. A nation cannot achieve the height of success without respect for parents and teachers.

This was stated by Chairman Britain International School System (BISS), Javed Iqbal Ch, during his address at the annual prize distribution ceremony of the institution for the session 2015-17. At least 257 position-holders were awarded shields at the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Javed Iqbal said that Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) must be the role model for every Muslim. His (SAWW) teachings guarantee success in this life and hereafter. He said that Islam is the religion of peace, love and humanity.

The BISS chairman said that the idea of establishing Britain International School System was conceived in 1995. It was realized that a dynamic educational philosophy blended with the vision of the dawning millennium is prerequisite to grow fertile minds for tomorrow. He said that existence of the BISS mirrors this vision. He added that the main objective of the school is to provide quality education on modern scientific footing to prepare students for 21st century. He said that the motto of the school is to spread light of education and dispel darkness of ignorance.

The BISS aims at establishing a goal oriented unique combination of Islamic and modern education. It also aims at skill based educational and training programmes for teachers to enhance their capability.

"Adhering to seven models: Islam, my parents, my best teacher, Pakistan, teaching profession, BIS-BICN team, BIS-BICN students; we have expended over network to 35 branches countrywide with over 10,000 students and 1,000 staff members," he said. Javid Iqbal added at BISS, teachers' promotion is considered a key to success of a strong organization.

Director of Air University Multan Dr Hayat Muhammad Awan, BISS country head Miss Munazza Nauman, regional head Miss Munazza Naz, group principal Dr Afzal Khan were guests on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, BISS regional head Munazza Naz said that features of BISS are English language, communication, character and confidence building, personality development, conceptual teaching, calligraphy training.

She added at BISS, hidden potential of children is targeted. She also talked about good performance of the students of different BISS campuses. She also thanked parents of the students for attending the ceremony.
