LAHORE - Kisan Board Pakistan has demanded the withdrawal of the new agri tariff of electricity on tubewells as anti-farmers policies of the government are destroying the agriculture of country. According to a press release issued here on Monday, the Kisan Board Pakistan president Sardar Zafar Hussain has demanded the government to hold talks with the representatives of farmers and accept their fair and due demands besides removing their reservations. He claimed that due to the unavailability of water, the farmers are incurring the losses and thousands of acres of land could be changed into barren owing to the persistent stoppage of the Chashma Jehlum Link Canal.
