Sohail, Jamshed become air marshals

ISLAMABAD - The govt has promoted air vice marshals Muhmmad Jamshed Khan and Sohail Aman to the rank of Air Marshal, a press release from Pakistan Air Force said on Friday. Jamshed Khan was commissioned in the PAF’s DG (P) branch on April 1979. He has commanded a fighter squadron, a fighter wing and an operational air base, the press release added. He is a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School and Air War College. He has also served as director general at NAB.
Sohail Aman was commissioned in PAF’s GD (P) branch on November 1980. Like Jamshed, Sohail has commanded a fighter squadron, a fighter wing and an operational air base. 
He is also a graduate of Combat Commanders’ School, Air War College and Kings College (London). He has served as Air Officer Commanding of a regional air command and Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Training) at Air Headquarters Islamabad.
