Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) today held a hearing of plea, challenging former president Pervez Musharraf’s arrest warrant and summoned details of medical board’s check-up.
The IHC held hearing of a plea that challenges arrest warrant issued by a court earlier against Musharraf, in Ghazi murder case. Former president’s counsel said that a medical board had carried out a thorough check-up of Musharraf. The board had advised Musharraf to avoid travelling, he added.
Musharraf’s counsel said that the board had conducted the medical check-up on April 1. However, the court issued notice to the plaintiff in Ghazi murder case, Haroonul Rashid. The IHC further has summoned details of the board’s medical check-up.
