GUJRAT (Online) - Deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that lawyers' struggle would continue and soon Constitution and law would rule the country, adding that no compromise would be made over the judges' issue. In a telephonic address to the Gujrat Bar Association on Thursday, he said that the people's belief in government lies in the sovereignty of judicial system in the country. No compromise can ever be made over the restoration of deposed judges as per the constitution of the country, he maintained. He hoped that the freedom of judiciary and supremacy of the constitution would be achieved in the country soon. He said that the lawyers' movement has been commenced in the best interest of the people and would reach its logical end. He urged the lawyers to remain united so that no power could divide them. He said when the judiciary would be independent then the public would gain confidence on the government.
