ISLAMABAD - High-powered PML-N committee tasked to scrutinising the PPP-proposed draft constitutional package has compiled its recommendations on Thursday by maintaining party's position that deposed judges should be reinstated under the Murree Declaration.       TheNation has learnt from the party sources that the six-member committee headed by Chairman Raja Zafarul Haq has, however, strongly supported the proposal seeking to create balance of power between President and Prime Minister, meaning thereby to empower the Prime Minister as the Chief Executive of the country. The committee that concluded its deliberations would send its recommendations to the party high command today (Friday) for approval, which would then forward it to the PPP leadership for evolving consensus through a joint committee of the two parties. All the committee members, including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ahsan Iqbal, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Khawaja Haris, Khawaja Zaheer and ZA Sher attended the meeting. According to PML-N Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal, restoration of the deposed judges will not be acceptable to his party through constitutional package, saying the PML-N ministers would resume their offices only if the judges reinstated as per the Murree Declaration.
