Most of the vehicles in Pakistan run on diesel i.e. almost 65-70% vehicles are running on diesel. And the remaining vehicles are on petrol and CNG. Recently government reduced the price of petrol by Rs 6.04 per litre and that of diesel by Rs 1.8 per litre. It means that still govt has done a good trick by reducing prices of petrol more than of diesel. And government is earning more profits because diesel is mostly used in vehicles such as mini buses, buses, trucks, and other heavy vehicles. MUBASHIR MAHMOOD, Karachi, June 4.
