BUREWALA - Farmers have rejected the federal budget 2011-12, according to a survey conducted by The Nation here the other day. They said that the federal budget was a total failure on the part of the present government. They observed that the government did not want to address the problems of the agriculture sector. They also said that the government had raised the prices of the inputs by imposing GST. Adnan Irshad, a local farmer, said that only agriculture sector showed positive growth during 2010-11 while the rest of the economy performed negatively.
