LAHORE Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab Dr Waseem Akhtar has said that the rulers are giving more importance to the US directions but the nation is not ready to accept the supremacy of any foreign master. Addressing a seminar here on Sunday, he said that the so called war on terror had already caused 68 billion dollars loss to the economy besides killing of 35,000 innocent citizens. Waseem Akhtar said that the rulers had made the country and the masses hostage and no relief was given in the national budget. Budget framed according to the dictation of IMF and World Bank has neglected important sectors like education, health and agriculture, he said. He said the purpose of JI mass contact movement was to convey its message to the masses.
