KARAK - Tanzeem-e-Asataza Pakistan rejected 10 per cent increase in the salaries in national budget and resolved to launch protest movement after Eid-ul-Fitr if government fails to revise the salaries.

This was informed by teachers’ body leader Khairullah Hawari in a press conference here on Sunday at Karak. He demanded that the ad hoc reliefs of 2013, 2014 and 2015 should be merged into basic pay coupled with increase up to 20 per cent in salaries.

He further demanded that the house rent allowance should be increased 50 per cent and conveyance and medical allowance and TA/DA should be increased by 100 per cent.

Hawari further demanded that time scales should be given to teachers of all cadres, schools and college officers and management cadre officers and recalled that the government should act on its previous budget announcement by giving special allowance to the employees working in scale 16 and one step promotion to employees from scale 16 and onward.

Hawari stressed upon the provincial government of PTI not to follow the federal government and prepare employees friendly budget to meet their all demands.

He resolved if their demands were not met then they would be forced to launch protest movement soon after Eid-ul-Fitr.
