FAISALABAD: Paramedical staff in Faisalabad’s Civil Hospital staged a protest today over the mis-behaviour of doctors.

Last night, a woman and her newborn lost their lives during delivery due to the alleged negligence of a doctor. The doctor also assaulted the woman’s brother Shehbaz who is an office boy in the hospital.

Reacting to the situation, fourth grade staff and paramedics while shutting down the outdoor protested against the mistreatment.

Patients had to face immense trouble due to the strike as they failed to get the receipt even after standing in long queue for hours.

The protest came to an end after two hours when Medical Superintendant (MS) Dr Rauf assured them of justice.

On the other hand, a woman and her newborn baby died in Lahore’s Lady Aitcheson Hospital due to doctor’s negligence while the enraged relatives staged protest outside the hospital.

According to reports, a 19-year-old Sumbal was shifted to Lady Aitcheson Hospital on Sunday evening for her delivery purpose but the family members alleged that doctors didn’t pay attention to Sumbal which resulted in her and baby’s death.
