Enforcement of Islamic Sharia our main objective: Nizami

LAHORE - Editor-in-Chief The Nation and Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Majid Nizami has said Pakistan was created in the name of Islam and enforcement of Islamic Sharia is our main objective. He was speaking at the concluding session of the two-day Seerat-un-Nabi conference (PBUH) held at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Friday. Pir Kabir Ali Shah presided over the conference. Majid Nizami said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a minaret of light who rooted out illiteracy and customs of the era of ignorance, gave concept of piety, purification and weeded out infidelity. He said after the enforcement of Islam, Pakistan would become a true citadel of Islam. Nizami said the purpose of holding the conference was to refresh our faith. Pir Kabir Ali Shah said the time spent in the memory of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is precious. The believers consider feel pride in sacrificing their lives in respect of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He said there was need to inform the young generation about the objectives of creation of Pakistan. He said ulema and mashaikh played a vital role in the Pakistan Movement which should also be known to the younger generation. Kabir Ali paid rich tributes to Majid Nizami and Nawai-e-Waqt publications for playing effective role in the Pakistan Movement, Khutam-e-Nubuwat, Tehrik-e-Nizame Mustafa and Tehrik-e-Tahafuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH) which is ample proof that he is true devotee of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).He urged the people to counter conspiracies of promote obscenity, drug addiction and apathetic attitude to the Islamic culture and values. Vice Chairman NPT Dr Rafique Ahmad said Christian writer and researcher Maeckel Hot regarded the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as the biggest personality of the world in 4,000 years time period. The three time evaluation of the research regarded the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as the greatest personality. He called for reformation of the self and the society. He said inspite of crusade against the Muslims Islam is spreading fast in the world. Justice (r) Nasira Javed Iqbal said deviation from Islam had put us in trouble. Islam gives respect to women but we have prejudice against them. Those who talk of second marriage should seek forgiveness, she further said. Dr Mehmood-ul-Hassan Arif said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is blessing for the entire mankind and all creatures. Justice (r) Nazir Ahmad Ghazi said Pakistan will remain intact as far as we will protect 'Namoos-e-Risalat (PBUH). Nobody is great in the eyes of his wives and servants, but the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was as great as ever among the wives and maids who became big source of information of Seerat-e-Tayyba (PBUH). Prof Ghulam Sarwar Rana said Khutaba Hujatul Wida was the biggest charter of human rights and the mightiest Magna Carta. Begum Mehnaz Rafi said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) brought emancipation for the entire humanity and freed the humanity from the obsolete and oppressive customs. Prof Saeed Alam Zaidi supported Majid Nizami that we should fight India instead of being deprived of our waters. Asif Munir recited naat while Pir Kabir Ali Shah prayed for the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan and progress of the nation.
