The brutal assassination of Shabaz Bhatti in broad daylight makes it evident, how the extremists and terrorists want to destroy the social fabric of Pakistan. It is hoped that the sacrifice which Shabaz Bhatti gave for Pakistan, will not be in vain. His message of tolerance, coexistence and interfaith harmony would have to be spread further, after his death, showing these terrorists that by killing one person they cannot silence the message. At this hour, communities from all walks of life and beliefs should stand shoulder to shoulder, to ward off any effort to destabilize the country. HASSAN BASHIR, Islamabad, March 3.
