PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Investigation Wing of Peshawar has secured 14-year rigorous imprisonment to one accused involved in terrorism case from the Anti-Terrorist Court.

As per details, the Pishtakhara police Peshawar in August 2014 had arrested one Afghan national Najmul Haq and recovered 2 non-electric detonators, prima cord (6 yards), explosive materials and 11 tube type indigenous explosive substance weighting 2 kgs. Beside this the police also recovered 2 yards safety fuse, one pistol 30 bore and 9 rounds from his possession.

The investigation wing pursued this case in the Anti-Terrorist Court. The other day the Anti-Terrorist Court Peshawar awarded 14-year rigorous imprisonment to the accused on his committed crime.

Being Afghan national, he was further convicted under section 14 Foreign Act and sentenced 5-year more rigorous imprisonment and imposed Rs 5000 fine.
