More rain forecast

LAHORE  - After scattered rain in the provincial capital and other parts of the province on Thursday, the metrological office has forecast more rains for various parts of the country including Punjab from Friday to Monday.
Spokesman for the Met Office said that scattered rain with thunderstorm is expected in North Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions) on Friday.
He informed that scattered rain of light to moderate intensity is expected in next 36-48 hours and widespread rain of moderate to heavy intensity is expected during Saturday-Monday. "Widespread rain/thunderstorm is expected in Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, D.G Khan, Bahawalpur divisions on Sunday/Monday", he added.

He further informed that isolated heavy falls are also expected in Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sahiwal divisions on Sunday/Monday.
Drizzle was also occurred in most parts of the Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Lahore, Gujranwala divisions which dropped the maximum temperature to 17 degree Celsius while minimum remained 10.8 degree Celsius.
