KARACHI - Consul General of Royal Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Karachi, Mohammad Abdullah Abdul Daim  assured a delegation of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) that the Saudi Consulate would try its best to facilitate issuance of business visas being recommended by KCCI with a view to promote trade and commercial ties between the two countries.

Saudi Consul General gave the assurance while exchanging views with a delegation of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry comprising President KCCI, Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra and other members visited the Saudi Consulate in Karachi to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Speaking on the occasion, President KCCI, Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra stressed the need to focus on devising strategy to bring business communities of the two countries closer and seek ways and means of how to improve trade ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He was of the opinion that the overall climate of doing business in Karachi has improved significantly and was likely to improve further in the days ahead.

The Saudi businessmen and industrialists will surely have a win-win situation as the investment policy of the government guarantees 100 percent repatriation of investment to foreign investors, he added. Seeking participation of Saudi businessmen and industrialists in KCCI’s forthcoming My Karachi – Oasis of Harmony exhibition 2015, President KCCII briefed the Saudi Consul General about 12th My Karachi Exhibition scheduled to be organised at the Karachi Expo Center from April 10th to April 12th, 2015.
