FAISALABAD: At least 16 people including fesco employees were arrested on Sunday in Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) recruitment corruption scam.

 According to Fesco sources, fake appointment letters were issued for Grade 1 to 17 by the Fesco employees who also received millions of rupees from the candidates for their recruitment.

 However, when the candidates reached the office for their joining they came to know about the entire matter.

 FESCO authorities while giving 16 people in police custody has formed an investigating team.

 Moreover, Chief Executive FESCO Rasheed Aslam has made Deputy Director Intelligence Akhtar Aiwan as the head of the team and has directed to submit report after further probe into the matter.
