The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered Nihal Hashmi to appear before the court in contempt of court case.

The orders were given as CJP took his plea against his disqualification as a Senator and forming of a larger bench for intra-court hearing.

Nihal Hashmi’s speech after his release from Adyala Jail on 28th February also played in the court.

In a dialogue with Nihal Hashmi lawyer Kamran Murtaza Chief Justice Saqib Nisar said, “Are you listening what he is saying?” Should we order to file a case against him or enhanced his punishment, CJP asked.

Kamran Murtaza apologized for Hashmi's speech and pleaded court not to write obscene words on the court order.
