United we stand

The upcoming elections are indeed significant for every Pakistani. We are in dire need of a strong, powerful, influential democratic system. The conditions in Pakistan have become worse, violent and depressing. Everyone is looking forward to a change, we all want to see our country survive, we want to live up to our leader Quaid-i-Azam’s dream. We, the youth of Pakistan, are patriotic and Pakistan runs in our blood and we are proud to be Pakistanis. We would fight for our nation.
The new aspiring leader who claims to be bringing in change is Imran Khan. He has been a shining star of our cricket team, now; he is our hope for bringing change. I strongly believe that his slogan for a new Pakistan is not delusional; it’s not an illusion either. He has charisma and motivation; I can hear sincerity in his words. Why should we not support him? The fact that there is uncertainty in his assuming power to led the government may make many think that he is new at this game but let’s assume that he is, why don’t we give him a chance?
I do not blame our government for the current conditions in Pakistan because mainly we have all been fighting with against each other, killing our brothers and sisters, spreading bloodshed violence and terrorism. 80 percent of the crime is being done by us and then if action is not taken, we blame the government. We all need to unite to eradicate indifference and hatred and unite for one cause, to make this a better country.
Change in mindset will really help in bringing a change in the country. We can’t be always dependent on the government, it is there to provide justice and security to us, but we also need to take our destiny into our own hands. Imran Khan is promising us change; I hope that we are brave enough to take the challenge and show the world that our youth is strong and honest and can bring a positive change in the country.
