Earlier on Monday evening, MQM coordination committee considered different aspects to finalise the decision regarding the ultimatum over the issue of party activists’ missing and extrajudicial killings in the City. The committee reviewed the current development in which the PPP leadership has assured the party chief for action against the culprits involved.
Moreover significant developments were seen on Monday and once again PPP’s Rehman Malik became activated for resolving the issue by calling MQM chief Altaf Hussain to withdraw the protest drive. Malik was also present in an important meeting at the Governor House between the Sindh CM and governor.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Sindh CM House has informed that Qaim has contacted the MQM coordination committee and expressed grief over the killing of MQM workers. During the telephonic conversation, Qaim assured the MQM that provincial government would take solid steps regarding the demands of the MQM over its party workers’ killings.
