KHANEWAL-DCO Usman Moazzam inspected pace of work on different mega projects being executed with Rs147 million under South Punjab Development Programme (SPDP) across the district.

On the occasion, he advised the officers concerned to ensure timely completion of all these schemes. He warned that delay and use of substandard material would not be tolerated and stern action would be taken against those found involved in the malpractice. He visited Khanewal-Garha Morr Road which was being expanded from 12 to 20 feet with a cost of Rs65 million and under construction Trauma Centre at DHQ Hospital being built at a Rs67 million. On the occasion, he was briefed that 70 present work on the mega project had been completed.

The DCO expressed hope that the construction of Khanewal-Garha Morr Road distance between Khanewal and Vehari would be reduced greatly.
