Lahore:  Police sent DNA samples of Deputy Superintend of Police Imran Babar Jameel and the victim girl, who was allegedly raped by him, to the Punjab Forensic Laboratory for DNA test.

DSP Babar was charged of raping Sana, 17, a resident of Kahiana and was taken into custody on Thursday. The police presented him before a judicial magistrate in Model Town. The court had sent the accused on judicial remand. The police officer has denied the crime. The police said that result of the DNA sample of accused and the victim would clarify the issue.
