“Don't fall for Cheap Advertisers - Obsolete is always cheap”

“Start Local go Global”

Web Industry is evolving at a rapid pace; it's not at all like what it used to be even 5 years ago. It is continuously changing consumer trends and our daily lives.

Let's relate a website to a normal 1300cc car. Your designer will design the looks, colors and aerodynamics of the car and engineer builds the engine and the controls. They both work together to create a perfect product. Similarly a Web designer is someone who prepares styling, layout, User Interaction (UI) and User Experience (UX) for your website. Website developer is who builds the technical backend technology behind the face of any pretty website we see in our Web browsers.

We all receive a bunch of SMS advertisements everyday; along with email ads, letters and etc. Among these ads, there are plenty of advertisers offering you Website development services. The purpose of this article is to help you gain a brief insight of the Web Environment Industry and what every individual or an Organization should consider before hand.

In 1990s and maybe early 2000s websites were considered secondary face of a business, but that is not the case anymore. We are living in 2016 and your digital presence comes before anything. In fact, websites have turned into the Primary face of any entity, followed by social media presence for that organization.

In my series of articles, I will point out crucial Dos and Don'ts everyone should consider before having their website designed, developed and how the Web industry is evolving.

Don't fall for cheap advertisers; they are most probably offering you older technologies. You are investing in your future and your Digital Front for potential customers and in order to stay competitive, you have got to build a strong Online presence.

People tend to Google everything. They will definitely do an online search about you or your business which might lead to your website. If your website is not impressive enough there is a potential loss of a customer before they even get to visit your well decorated office. Who is to blame? Not your cheap and outdated web designer and his outdated technology. It's you because you because you hired him in the first place. Don't just settle for any website. Get a proper design and consultation from an experienced Web Designer who is working with the latest trends and whose knowledge matches your Industry expectations. Prices must be slightly higher but reasonable; you just have to be a little wiser when relying on an external party for setting up your digital presence for your Customers i.e. your official website!  Get monthly statistics and overview of your website visitors. Hire a pro to do the job for you, because if it is set up correctly, it has the potential of multiplying your client base.
