LDA Tower Complex approved

The governing body of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved construction of a multi-storey LDA Tower Complex on the site of old fruits and vegetables market, Ferozepur Road at a cost of Rs10 billion and immediate appointment of consultant for the purpose. It further decided to carry out repair and up-gradation of pedestrian bridges at Jail Road and The Mall road at a cost of Rs 41.57 million.  These bridges were situated in front of Lahore College for Women University, Kinnaird College as well as in front of Panorama Centre. The Authority also decided to transform Abdul Haque Road, starting from UBD Canal at Doctors' Hospital to Southern Bypass near Expo Centre, into a signal-free corridor at a cost of Rs 375.873 million.–APP
