BNP activists protest leader's killing

KARACHI - Hundreds of enraged activists of Balochistan National Party (BNP) on Wednesday took out a protest rally from Regal Chowk to Karachi Press Club against the killing of party's City president Zahid Hussain Baloch. The unknown assailants gunned him down on 1st of November. They demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the killing of Balochistan National Party leader Zahid Baloch and urged the Sindh Government to not adopt the policy of silence on the killing of the said leader. Addressing the participants of rally, Baloch leaders applauded the struggle of Zahid Baloch to unite the Baloch community of the metropolis in one platform; they said that his service would be remembered forever as he done for the welfare of the Baloch people. They said that due to the heroic struggle of the Zahid Baloch, the anti-Baloch elements could not tolerate his and killed him, adding that the murder of Zahid Baloch was the attack on Baloch national unity and Baloch movement. They said that the late leader has done a lot for the welfare of the Baloch people on the plate form of the party, while in the regard he had also formed a NGO in the name of Baloch Foundation aimed to provide all the possible assistances to the poor people, they added he had also raised his voice against the injustice with the Baloch people.
