LAHORE - Punjab College won the college title of the Interschool and collegiate Games event by securing 1355 points. The first Interschool and collegiate Games concluded here on Wednesday at the Punjab Stadium in which GUC was second with 806 points and Beacon House Defence was third with 193 points. In the girls category, Lahore Grammar School Gulberg with 254 points was the winner. Kannaird College with 208 points was second and Lahore College University was third. In inter-school boys, DPS Model Town (281 points) was the winner followed by Shalimar City School (254) and Johar Town school were second and third. In the girls category, Lahore Grammar (357) was the winner while Dehli Darulsafian and Govt Higher Secondary School Samanabad were second and third respectively. On the final day, Beacon House won the table tennis title of collegiate events through Shahzab who beat Ahsan Ahmed of Punjab College. Mahrukh of Kannairds beat college fellow Samina Parvaiz for the girls title. In boys competition, Nabeel Aftab won over Saeed Alam of Beacon House. In girls school class, Shamila Wasti of Sacred Heart School beat Farwa Babar of Model Town school. In inter-school basketball, Beacon Johar Town was winner with win over Sacred Heart while Beacon Defence was third. In boys basketball, Don Basco urdu were the winners, City Shalimar and Beacon Defence were second and third respectively. Inter-college hockey boys, Punjab College of Commerce were the winners while GCU second and Govt Science College third. In school boys, Govt Model High school took the title with Divisional Public School coming second and Army Public Mozang was third
