Razi Nawab elected as PSF Sr Vice President

ISLAMABAD The Pakistan Squash Federations (PSF) Friday elected Syed Razi Nawab as new Senior Vice President in the 38th Annual General Meeting at Air Headquarters on Friday. Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, who is also President of the PSF chaired the meeting. The House also examined the performance of the federation. Air Vice Marshal Syed Razi Nawab will replace Air Marshal Asim Suleman. The Sindh Squash Association was declared winner of the Pride of Performance Trophy whereas Punjab Squash Association stood runner-up. The meeting carried out thorough assessment of the Pakistan squash players representing the country in national and international tournaments. It was briefed that the federation expected top players to excel further in the game as they were being provided all the possible support and facilities. The House discussed various plan for the promotion of game in the country. The President PSF urged legendary players to come forward and play their role in the promotion of squash. He also informed that through the senior players, a talent hunt scheme for upcoming players would be initiated at the country level.
