Commissioner System in public interest

KARACHI - Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) president Pir Pagara said that the Commissionerate System had ultimately revived in the province, which was in the best interest of the people. PML-F chief predicted that November may be the month of change at political ground. Talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) at Kingri House on Saturday, he said if Pervez Musharraf sought any advice from him after his return, he will be ready to give him some points. He said unification of Muslim League was possible in future. The delegation was led by Senior Vice President APML Dr Ghulam Mujtaba, Brigadier (r) Haris Nawaz, Major (r) Hashim, Salma Waheed Murad, Laila Tiwana and others. He said he did not want to disgrace Imran Khan but Asghar Khan had also taken out long procession from Karachi Airport to the metropolis in past but situation was in front of all. He said the time would decide the fate of Imran. To a question about Musharrafs return, Pagara said one should read the history of Changaiz Khan and those who did not read should wait some time. Talking to the mediamen, Dr Ghulam Mujtaba said that father of Pir Pagara, Pir Sibghat Ullah Shah Rashdi sacrificed his life for the peoples right and we highly respect Pir Sahib Pagara. He regretted that if we compare Musharraf era with the current government, we found the previous regime even better. He claimed that there was no charge of corruption against Musharraf. If the theft money of the country will be returned back, Pakistan would not need any foreign aid. Govt urged to withdraw MFN status to India: Jamaat-e-Islami Womens Wing has condemned the govts decision to confer on India the status of Most Favoured Nation (MFN), terming it a conspired move and demanded the govt withdraw it forthwith. A resolution in this regard was approved in a representative gathering of the JI Womens Wing here on Saturday which further stated that the decision was in defiance of the freedom struggle demonstrated by Kashmiri Muslims. The JI womens wing representatives see a decision as risk to national security of the country. The resolution expressed full solidarity with the people of Kashmir and ensured them the Pakistanis stand by with them in their liberation movement. The resolution urged the intellectuals and analysts to discharge their responsibilities in an unbiased manner and not mislead the nation.
