islamabad - The students of MS and PhD of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) were awarded laptops under the prime minister’s laptop scheme here at a ceremony.
In the first round, 3,816 laptops have been awarded to the students of IIUI. President IIUI Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh while congratulating the laptop holders paid high thanks to Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Higher Education Commission on contribution and positive steps taken for the betterment of students and higher education. He said empowerment of students with latest technology was highly appreciable step which would facilitate students in their research work. Dr Draiweesh wished to facilitate every student on maximum level. He also advised students to stay away from pessimist thinking and always discourage negative attitude of extremism and fanaticism.
