After the Uri attack, the scuffle and hostility between India and Pakistan has escalated. The warmongering and pugnacious media is at the forefront of aggravating tensions between India and Pakistan especially in India the media is narrating a course of action for New Delhi.
After mushrooming and intensifying the venom of antagonism between New Delhi and Islamabad now it is fully equipped and headed to block every backdoor of diplomacy and normalcy. The recent hostile and ill-disposed attitude of Indian media towards Pakistani actors, actresses and technicians is clearly reflecting the deceptive, prejudiced and malicious mindset and extremist segment of their so called enlightened liberal and secular country. It is undoubtedly true that literature, music and art don’t discriminate and believe on any boundary or border and artist is always considered the ambassador of peace and harmony.
The preposterous demand of Indian media to ban Pakistani artists and asking them to leave the country is not justifiable as this initiative will not bring any healthy change except worsening it. In this regard the stance of few good men like the veteran actor Om Puri, renowned producer and director Karan Johar, Mahest Bhatt and Salman Khan is literally courageous, commendable and a breath of fresh air. On the other hand, in India on several occasions Pakistani artists were not permitted to participate or perform due to the pressure and protest by extremist, radical and fanatical political parties of India, despite the fact that Pakistani actors and actress were invited there.
In the present scenario, Pakistan India relations are on the height of hostility and in this situation Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and all other artists should realise the gravity of situation. It is the need of the hour that they should come back to Pakistan now. Undoubtedly, they are much loved and popular in Pakistan thus they should volunteer to Leave India before any more humiliation is faced by them. Money and fame should not become more important than the self-respect and honour of their country.
