MIRPURKHAS -  Scores of residents of Ward No 34, Bhansinghabad held a demonstration against unsanitary condition in their area since past two years.

The demonstration was stated outside the Government Iqra Higher Secondary School, Bhansinghabad, Mirpurkhas on Sunday

Led by Maqsood, Meraj and Haseeb, the protesters carrying banners and placards raised slogans against the chairman Municipal committee Mirpurkhas Farooque Jameel Durrani.

Talking to media persons, the protesters alleged that since past two years sewerage water remained stagnant due to damage underground line in their area. Despite of repeated complaints and protest no action was taken by the MCM.

They said that chairman and councilors had visited their area in past but to no avail. They blamed that chairman and various councilors were allegedly involved in corruption of funds and anti-corruption department were conducting the inquiries against. They warned that if their problem was not solved by changing new sewerage line in their area then their protest will be spread in the city.
