KANDHKOT -  Kashmore police claimed to have nabbed two criminals in injured condition in an encounter in the limits of Ghouspur Police station on Sunday evening.

Police spokesman Nadar Chana said that Ghouspur Police was on daily patrolling when they reached near Jugun area suddenly criminals opened indiscriminate firing on police vehicles on retaliation police party also fired on them, resultantly two criminals were apprehended by police in injured condition.

When contacted Kashmore Police Chief Bashir Ahmed Brohi told The Nation that Ghouspur police arrested two criminals namely Nabi dost and Inam Sabzoi in injured condition while two TT pistols and dozens of bullets were recovered from their possessions.

He said that their four other accomplices were managed to escape from the scene. He further said that accused were belonged to notorious gangs especially Chottu and Dadu gang. They were wanted to police in heinous crimes including murdering, robberies, dacoity and others, he added. Further investigation is under way whereas no case was lodged till filling of this report.
