Two policemen martyred in a gun attack at a check post in Mardan, reported Waqt News.
According to sources Head Constable Farhad Ali and Constable Nawaz were on duty on check post when unidentified attackers opened fire on them and fled the scene.
Both Ali and Nawaz got critically injured in result of the attack. They were both rushed to nearby hospital but succumbed to injuries.
The police has cordoned off the area and a search operation is underway.
