Abdullah faces Mahatir in Nayza All Pakistan Tennis final

LAHORE - Champion Abdullah Adnan and Karachi’s Mahatir Muhammad breezed into the boys U-18 singles final of the Nayza All Pakistan National Tennis Championship 2021 after routing their respective opponents in the semifinals played here at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah on Friday. 
Abdullah Adnan, who has already claimed two U-18 national titles and eyeing the third one to complete hat-trick of titles, was up against spirited Faizan Fayyaz and took little time to overpower his opponent 6-1, 6-1 to set final clash against his rival from Karachi Mahatir Muhammad, who outpaced Shaeel Durab with a score of 6-1, 6-3 in the second semifinal of the boys U-18 singles. 
In the boys/girls U-12 doubles semifinals, Abubakar Talha (Wapda)/Zohaib Afzal Malik (SA Group) continued to dominate the U-12 doubles as they overwhelmed the pair of Ismail Aftab and Hashir Alam with a good margin of 4-1, 4-0 while in the second semifinal, Amir Mazari and Omer Jawad defeated Nabeel Ali Qayum and Abdur Rehman by 5-4, 4-2. In the boys U-14 semifinals, Ahtesham Humayun played well against Amir Mazari and outsmarted him by 6-2, 6-1 while Asad Zaman beat Omer Jawad 6-7, 6-0, 6-2. Asad once again thanked his sponsor Tariq Zaman and assured him of doing well in upcoming events. 
In the boys/girls U-12 singles semifinals, Amir Mazari (Aitchison) toppled Abdur Rehman 4-0, 4-0 while Omer Jawad defeated Nabeel Ali Qayum 4-2, 4-2. In the U-10 semifinals, Abdur Rehman (AAA Associated) crushed Ahsan Bari 4-0, 4-0 while Hajra Sohail routed Fajar Fayyaz 4-0, 4-0. In the girls U-14 semifinals, Soha Ali thrashed Zoha Arshad 4-0, 4-0 and Noori Saad trounced Javeria Sagir 4-1, 4-0.
