Relations between USA and Pakistan have gone through many ups and downs during last 63 years. One has to realize that both these friends are in desperate need of each other. They also have common objectives. On should not forget that what the whole West could not achieve in decades was done single-handedly by Pakistan. Credit also goes to the tribesmen in Fata for their bravery and courage. Great Britain ruled the sub-continent for ages but could not get hold of these areas and also failed to capture Afghanistan. Pakistan not only provides the route for NATO supplies but also holds the key for success. But the drone strikes are causing a lot of problems.
